I think they do for the special room they have with lowered floors
I believe they dont.
8 comfortably and ~12 uncomfortably.
I honestly felt like I was in one of the smaller towns and cities I visited in Japan. This is not Tokyo ramen. This is small town delicious! The gyōza were light and fantastic. Had both chicken and pork and totally recommend them.Tea is green tea.
One of my all time favorites in Atlanta midtown. Super comfy and nice. Great food. Sit at the sushi bar and ask for what’s fresh!
This place is probably the best Ramen and sushi spot that I have tried. It was good, the chicken Ramen was a flavorful, I tried the sushi for the first time and it was really good. Hakura was really nice and help me try the sushi🤙🏾
Definitely my favorite spot for dining (and occasionally grabbing a drink) after work! All dishes are very delicious and exquisite. Sushi menu is also huge and has tons of choices, all of which are tasty. Sitting at the sushi bar when coming alone means you don't have to wait for a table and go straight to eat!
I take my family to this lovely place a lot! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there many times. The food is very tasty, the crew is welcoming and the price is fair. I enjoy eating in this restaurant to have a nice dinner.
This spot is awesome! Convenient prices, big dishes and the employees are regularly very welcoming.
Excellent authentic sushi restaurant. Good prices! I will be back here often. Love this place.
Best place I've ever been to in my life. Food is amazing
Great ramen. Great service.
Here is a very interesting place to bring a small group and try some new cuisine! Unfortunately though, the staff did not seem as attentive to carryout customers as their eat-in customers. My very small party waited an abnormally long time just to place an order and we were the only party at the counter waiting to order. People who walked in after us to sit down were promptly tended to and got there orders put in before ours. Furthermore, the dish I ordered did not have the flavor I expected, or any flavor at all for that matter, and was not cooked very well. To make matters worse, I got extremely sick immediately after eating less than half of the dish. 🤦🏽♀️ I likely won't be returning here.
I tried this place once with my friend and I am hooked ever since. I enjoy the great ambience and fresh dishes and drinks. They never disappoint.
Dinner at Ginya was really nice. We tried a couple ramen bowls, a sushi roll and a dessert. They've got a huge menu. Gotta come back a few times to try it all.
Great food and great service. I had never been here before and the food here was perfect very fresh and fast. The kitchen is like a open kitchen. Will come here again. To try new things out
Huge menu, everything we ordered was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more.
The sushi here is so good! The staff are fantastic and even though they're always busy (because their food is amazing!) - the service is quick, we got our food in no time and it was awesome!
Love this place. A total gem with amazing ramen and sushi options. The staff is incredibly helpful and the menu is extensive. Easy to get in and out. They also have a great sake menu.
So many items to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. The tan tan ramen was great. Also enjoyed the chicken karaage( fried chicken), the pork belly is very good, and the bacon wrapped scallops are tasty. My daughter ordered the tempura green tea ice cream and she ate every drop. This place is highly recommended
The overall Dinning experience at Ginya is quite pleasant. This is a restaurant that serves almost non-modified Japanese cuisine. The Udons and BBQs are worth to try. Don't order the sushi rolls or the sashimi, since they are not really that impressive. This is also a good place for you to come when you want a late night snack. Normally, I will order some barbecues or a drink and have a chat with my friends.
The food here is amazing and super flavorful!! Also very affordable! The only thing I recommend is that you make a reservation as it is always packed!
A great izakaya restaurant. I really enjoyed their food and their service was great. Our waitress catered very well to our party with a 3 year old and a picky 9 year old. I recommend trying their ramen and their green tea ice cream.
Very well kept and accessible restaurant. They offer large meals and for fair prices. We loved the food very much and the staff were very attentive and chatty. Highly recommended.
Decent place for Japanese food for dinner. There is usually some waiting on weekend dinner, and always crowded and busy. They have a variety of menus to choose from. I almost tasted everything since I live near by. I liked the tuna appetizer (see the pictures) and Yakitori most. I am Asian so I may be extra strict about Asian food, but ramen and bowls are just okay.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever ate at
One of the best ramen places in the downtown area!
The place is awesome and broad, the meals was yummy and the rates were very fair. quick, effective service and very welcoming waiters. I highly recommend this place.
A great place to have a meal in a great environment. Their ramen and their rice dishes are incredible and authentic as well! They have very nice booth seating and quick service that’ll leave you satisfied. They also don’t hustle you out like some other restaurants and will let you stay a reasonable amount of time!
The service was great. The ramen tasted almost exactly like the one I had in Japan. Definitely coming back here for my birthday
This is my most favorite place to eat sushi, and the sushi is always so fresh. I always get the california, and cucumber roll whenever I go here. They have a noodle bowl that is to die for, and it's so spicy just like I love my food. The eel is always fresh, and they have great customer service as well. I went to get my sushi rolls last week, and they where so yummy per usual. It's small, but very quaint inside if you go dine in. They bring your food out to you within minutes, and the waitress is always nice. Their fried springs rolls are the best with the sauce that make them even more yummy! If you're looking for a place that have fresh sushi, and is clean with great customer service look no further.
It's a great place to hangout with friends. Their service is fast and staff is friendly. The food is great too. Their ramen and sushi are the most popular items on the menu. The prices are cheap and worth it. You can get a lot of food for very less price. The ambience is like traditional Japanese which adds to the decor. This all makes it a great restaurant to go and eat.
Delicious, generous portions, and open late! Also, the wait staff is super friendly. Shout out to Diane who took great care of us! Will definitely be back!
Food was great, people are friendly. The parking lot has signs everywhere warning you not to leave anything valuable in the car. I am an out-of-towner and that make me feel a little uneasy.
I love this place! The customer service and the food are wonderful! It's also cozy and intimate if you're searching for a low key place to have lunch☺
The sushi is good, but it's pretty highly priced for not much food. There are better sushi places you can go to and spend the same amount.
Ginya Izakaya is a traditional styled Japanese restaurant. The tables are all wood and there's plenty of wood on the walls to give it a warm feeling. The food is also excellent. I went with the intention of trying a lot of different things and staying away from the usual ramen and sushi. We tried a lot of different things things like the eel omelet, squid and scallops carpaccio, pork and wasabi shumai(watch out for the wasabi) the curried whole squid, snow crab (very light and fresh), and finished of with the taiyaki which was crisp and chewy. I will definitely go back to try the ramen, udon and sushi and the other things that I missed out on.
We went for lunch but the ramen was great. We added the spice after this pic. Really yummy good service. I want to go back during dinner and try the expanded menu.
Love this as always! Extensive izakaya menu. Everything is well prepared!
Last week was our first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the efficient service, with the fine dishes and booze and with the honest cost. We will definitely come back soon.
last night was our first time in this place. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the magnificent cuisine and fine drinks and with the honest charge. We will no doubt visit there again.
If you want to try small plates of great Japanese fare this is the place. Great service and fantastic food. The ramen is some of the best in the city. Cool decor with the vintage Godzilla posters too!
"Great Ramen noodles and quality sushi very authentic Japanese place
The food it's super tasty, QUICK a HOT.The chicken karage and the Katsu Curry my favorites.Do not forget to try the Taiyaki with green te ice cream, the best I have in long time.
Great food. Service was a little hectic but we got our food eventually. Lots of selection and good explanation of each menu items.
This is the best Japanese restaurant in ATL, big beer mugs with Asahi and local/national craft brewery options available, plenty of sake options and a decent dessert menu for a nice pairing. It also boasts of an extensive killer Japanese menu. The wait was long but it was completely worth it and the staff and servers are completely professional, accurate and patient! You do wait but in under 10 minutes your order starts arriving at the table as soon as the plates are completed in the kitchen. Can't recommend this place enough the only thing is please make a reservation if coming in a group more than 2 as you can sit at the bar and not have to wait usually 1 or 2 spots are open. But group of 3 or 4 definitely recommend reserving.
Excellent spot to eat something when in a rush. Their customer service is fast, pricing is affordable, awesome atmosphere. Keep up the good work
You will get a lot of options here! Even a little hard to decide. The certain item is not available but totally understand. Overall food is average. A good place to have Japanese food if nearby. I wounding drive all the way for it.
Grubhub Delivery Review:I tried to find your email address so that this isn’t public, but I couldn’t find it on the website. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt because my other experiences at your restaurant have been good. However, the quality of the sushi that we received tonight was incredibly horrible. I hope that this will be a one time occurrence. Extremely spoiled, and inedible. I realize that we’re going through tough times, but tonight’s meal delivery was rough.
Atlanta being land locked combined with my own skepticism of its international clout made me not try most Japanese restaurants for over a year... What a waste of a year that was! Turns out Atlanta has some of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been to outside of Japan! The best part is you are not paying NYC prices for this display of dining deliciousness. Ginya does a great job of transporting me back to Japan and serving great food in a non pretentious atmosphere. It's feels very true to what an Izakaya is like in Japan with way less smoke billowing around. An added bonus is if you have friends that hate raw fish there are a ton of non raw options for them!
I love the atmosphere and the food. The dishes are affordable but sometimes a little small if your a big eater like me. I love the variety and selection. Sometimes I've had slow service but I think it's new waiters. I'll share some photos of the dishes I have and my new favorite sushi, the Georgian roll.
Absolutely delicious beginning to end. Food was delicious and fresh and so pretty! The prices are great especially for where it’s situated in town where things can be a bit pricey. They have the biggest menu ever. There’s something for everyone here. The beef curry udon is a shining star definitely a must go.
Utterly fantastic food at fairly normal Atlanta prices. Cannot recommend them enough, amazing ramen and sushi. Every food item I have tried from their menu has been delicious.
